Available Features in BARD Web 1.0

BARD's first release to the general public focuses on query and visualization functionality along with the data for the most recent MLP probes. Major features include:
  • Free text and annotation-based searching for assay definitions, projects, and compounds
  • Auto-suggest annotations to search on based on text typed into search bar
  • Filter search results by key annotations
  • Structure search (similarity, substructure, exact, superstructure) for compounds
  • Find assay definitions, projects, or compounds using a list of identifiers
  • Display UNM's BADAPPLE scaffold-based promiscuity analysis for all compound search results
  • View details of assay definitions, projects, compounds, and experiments
  • Highlight ML probes generated by a project and provide links to the detailed probe reports
  • Visualize the experimental steps for a project
  • View all results for an experiment
  • View experiment results options:
    • Option to normalize all dose response plots to use the same scale on the y-axis
    • Option to show only active results
  • View histograms of key result types for an experiment
  • View all results for a compound
  • View compound bioactivity summary for a compound
  • Compound bioactivity summary options:
    • Option to view experiments grouped by assay definition or by project
    • Option to normalize all dose response plots to use the same scale on the y-axis
    • Option to show only certain result types
  • View linked hierarchy visualization to enable visualization and dynamic filtering of all assay definitions that a compound was tested against using key annotations
  • Collect assay definitions, projects, and compounds of interest into a query cart
  • Visualize the contents of your query cart as a molecular spreadsheet
  • Molecular spreadsheet display options:
    • Hover over a summary result to see details like dose response curves
    • Different activity outcomes indicated by color
    • Option to transpose molecular spreadsheet for more user friendly display of contents
    • Option to sort on a column of the molecular spreadsheet
    • Option to normalize all dose response plots for an assay definition to use the same scale on the y-axis
  • Transfer the contents of your query cart to the Desktop Client
  • Display of summary statistics of data in BARD
  • Display notifications of upcoming application downtime/maintenance
